SCCM Configuration Manager console cannot connect to Site

Hi All,

I am getting errors while connecting to SCCM Console. I cannot connect to the Site.

I have checked everything and all logs, all the logs show same error

* [28000][18456][Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user '. SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER 12/14/2022 8:41:39 AM 4528 (0x11B0)

I have reset the site server also, I have checked SQL and SCCM Permission also, all looks good.

    Problem/Symptom:
    Configuration Manager console cannot connect to Site

    Solution/Workaround:
    Someone Removed the ConfigMgr installation folder permission.
    Added it back and started working.

    Hi @Trinadhchandra kola ,

    We can add SCCM site server computer account in the SQL logins to have a try.

    Open SSMS and connect to the site database, then navigate to <Server>/Security/Logins, check if the computer account is there.
    If not, add it. If yes, remove it and add it back with the same setting. Then check the results.

    Hi All,

    The issue has been Fixed are added permission to the SCCM ConfigMgr installation folder. Someone Removed the folder permission, I have added it back and started working.

    similar issue windows 20h2 device, recent update was KB5012170 not sure what changed permission added to folders, works now thanks guys
