We use business O365 E3 licenses for our client. Yesterday we started seeing weird bugs from Microsoft affecting our user's O365 accounts. It started with one user being alerted that they need to change their password but whenever we clicked 'Enter Password' a prompt to input the password never came up. It would flash across the screen and immediately disappear. After signing the user out of Office completely we could input the email but not the password. At this point, we could not even reactivate O365. After testing signing out of other users' O365 apps they could not get signed and activated either. Microsoft had us create the 'disableADAL' registry key which did not fix the issue either so please do not recommend this solution. Uninstalling Office and reinstalling it fixed the issue temporarily but then the issue came back today. We have also noticed that rebooting the workstation temporarily resolves the issue but we are looking for a more permanent solution to such a bizarre issue. A Microsoft technician finally admitted yesterday this was an issue from their end but it is not super widespread only affecting a handful of businesses. Does someone know a way we can resolve this bug permanently?
