Computer freezes/crashes randomly

Hello everyone,

Issue has been happening once in a great while (once every 2-3 weeks). I had no trouble for over a month and out of nowhere my Predator G9-793 running on Windows 10Pro V10.0.19045 Build 19045 crashed yesterday and today - twice within 10 min. Oddly it sometimes shows blue screen and others it just freezes and nothing happens - desktop is as is, but nothing responds and fans just slow down.

I have cleaned it and re-pasted it to makes sure it's not a heating issue.

Looked through the event log and these 3 errors happened right before the reboot. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to translate them.

Any suggestions/ideas ?

I think this error belongs to the disk drive, when driver tries to write on a read-only segment of computer’s memory. If the system manages to identify the driver that caused the error, that driver is going to be mentioned near the STOP message on the Blue Screen of Death screen.

There are the main issue listed below:-

    1. Faulty or corrupt device driver
    2. Incompatible firmware software
    3. Corrupt system services

    The solution might be:-

    • Adequate Disk Space.
    • Disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Changing video adapters.

BSOD can really be painful to users and my first suggestion would be to update all the drivers

and the BIOS of your PC.

You can also troubleshoot all kinds of BSOD from here

Press F8 while booting your computer to access System Recovery options.

    Click Troubleshoot.

    Select Command Prompt.

Enter the following commands below, then press Enter after each command:

    chkdsk c: /f

    bootrec /fixmbr

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    bcdboot c:\windows /s c:

Once done with the above commands, restart your computer and see if the problem is fixed.Hope this resolves your Query !!
