If anyone else has answers, I would be very thankful.
Persistent Network Credential Prompt
- I have 2 computers on the same network.
- Windows 10 and Windows 11
I am trying to access Windows 10 PC from my Windows 11 PC. They are both set up on the same Outlook/Microsoft account. However, when I go to try to access my Windows 10 PC (or vis versa) the prompt for credentials pops up and no matter what I put in, the prompt rejects my access.
- I have disabled the requirement of credentials on both computers and enabled file sharing.
- I disabled the firewalls on both PCs. Simultaneously and individually.
- I tried to access via IP address.
But the prompt still appears and still rejects my access, even when I try to use my Outlook/Microsoft account information.
Any help would be appreciated. I am mainly trying to access files on my Windows 10 PC from my Windows 11.
