Report builder error

I am using SCCM reporting, when I edit a report, it should open the report builder, but I get the error:

Unable to connect to data source

The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.

How to fix it?

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

  1. Make sure the SQL Server reporting services are up and running.
  2. Check SSRS log to see if there any error.
  3. We may encounter the report builder access error when we don't have SQL certificate installed on our computer. Exporting the ConfigMgr SQL Server Identification Certificate from SCCM server and importing into the computer resolves the report builder access error.
