Random Placement of Teams Meeting links in Outlook meeting invites

When I create Outlook Calendar invites from emails and then go to insert the Teams meeting info using the plugin for Outlook, the Teams Meeting info will be inserted in a seemingly random location in the meeting body. I have tried making sure I have clicked in the location I want the meeting to be inserted before clicking the Teams Meeting button, but it will make up its own mind about where it wants to go.

I am typically adding a little bit of text to the top of the meeting body to provide an agenda for the meeting, and I would like the Teams meeting info to go below that text, but it will go at the very top of the body, or at the bottom, or every once in a while where I want it to go. I have not been able to discern a pattern or trigger for where the info ends up, so 90% of the time I have to cut and paste it from where ever it was inserted to where I want it to be. Super annoying.

How does this work and how can I specify where I want the Teams info to go in the meeting invite body?

    Hi @Miller, Brian

I tested in my lab and seemed not able to reproduce this issue.

Environment: Outlook 365 version 2302 with Teams

    Please see the following gif.

No matter where my cursor is, the Teams meeting text are always inserted below the agenda text.

What version of Outlook are you using? You can check the detailed version via File>Office account>About Outlook.

And as a workaround, when you are editing a meeting email, please click the Teams meeting add-in first to set it as a Teams meeting (it would insert the Teams meeting text first), then write other text to make sure the text are in the right place.
