Windows 10 2004 loses account ceredentials regularly.

I've upgraded Windows 10 to v. 2004. Unfortunately, I've deleted the old Windows version.
Now all account credentials (for Microsoft and Google accounts) are regularly lost, and I have to log in every time. It's almost impossible to use.
Is there a fix for this?
Alternatively, how can I downgrade from 2004 to a previous version (1909?), without losing data?

    Hello,

If you've deleted Windows.old folder, the only way to go back to previous version (downgrade) is by doing a clean install.

IMO, the credentials should not be affected by upgrade. Also, now you can go to Credential Manager and add them manually. This should resolve the issue for you.

    Hope this helps!

@Frank Devitt , you can use search to locate Credential Manager and open same.

Then click Windows credential on the right and finally click on Add a Windows credential.

    Regards.

Thanks, @Kapil Arya . I upgraded to Windows 10 2004 on Monday morning. Within an hour I noticed the build-up of sign-in requests for both Google and Microsoft accounts. Others as well, but Google and MS are the most frequent, with the multiple apps. It seems like too much of a coincidence to be anything else.

Can you tell me how/where to find the Credentials Manager and is it straightforward to add them manually? Do you know if they will stay there after turn off?

    Thanks.

@Kapil Arya I entered the Google and Microsoft account info in the credentials as you suggested. After a reboot they were gone!! So, the problem remains.
