Changing email address used for notifications in profile

Currently notifications are sent to the same email address as the one associated with the account I use to sign-in to the site.

Will changing the email address used for notifications in my profile to an address that is different from the one associated with account sign-in have any other effect?

    Shouldn't be a problem to change your notification address. I haven't done it but I do know of others that chose to do so.
