Why does my default language continually change to United States no matter how many times I set the default to Australia?

I am always changing my default language to English (Australia) but a few seconds later Microsoft Word switches it back to English (United States). It is getting very frustrating. How can I fix this so that it actually stays as English (Australia)?

    Hi @FORGEARD, Kaitlyn (kforg1),

If possible, your Operating System (Windows/MacOS) regional language settings should match your primary language setting in Word. And, If Word keeps changing the language back to US English, this may be due to your organization's default language settings. In this case, you should contact your IT department to update the default language setting for your organization.
