MS Teams Carrier Tenant with Multi Tenant

Hi!

I'm trying to set up SBC for multile tenants with Direct Routing. I've read in the manual that I have to register a base domain name in the carrier tenant and register a subdomains for every customer. But don't understand how to do it.

The main question is. How to get into carrier tenant?

What do we have to do to get into Microsoft 365 admin center as a Global Administrator?

Could you please tell me:

Do you manage SBC and provide Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) services to customers?

According to your description, you are the Carrier and your own tenant should be an Carrier tenant.

You can only add new domains if you signed in to the Microsoft 365 admin center as a Global Administrator.

To validate the role you have, sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center , go to Users > Active Users, and then verify that you have a Global Administrator role.

We've just set up a new SBC for one customer. And so there's no need to register as a Carrier Tenant. Customer had a MS365 account and registered our FQDN for the Direct Routing.

So do we have to register as a Carrier Tenant and get the Global Administrator account? What's the procedure?

Hi @Alex S

According to your description, your organization should already be a carrier tenant.

You just need to set you as a global admin and the doc will instruct you how to become a global admin.
