I'm in progress with the self-paced learning for AZ-900 but I cannot access the Azure cloud shell in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/describe-azure-compute-networking-services/3-exercise-create-azure-virtual-machine. I was able to access the sandbox for previous modules though. For this exercise, when I try signing in, I get an error saying "Your account has been locked. Contact your support person to unlock it, then try again." The sandbox count is also adding up regardless of sign-in issue.
I would really appreciate any assistance.

We are really sorry that the issue is persisting despite trying out the steps suggested by JimmySalian-2011.
The link you have posted is showing the message '404 - Page not found'. Please specify the module and the unit you are facing the issue in.
Can you please post a screenshot of the error you are seeing after concealing your privacy details?
Thank you for replying back. This error happens in the learning path Microsoft Azure Fundamentals: Describe Azure architecture and services - Module Describe Azure compute and networking services and Unit 3 of 14 - Exercise - Create an Azure Virtual Machine.
I can access the cloud shell now. but I don't understand why exactly. I haven't skipped any exercise so far. But for checking what you said, I skipped to exercise 9 of 14 and then back to exercise 3. Now I can able to access the cloud shell. How can I find where it went wrong? may be I can save myself from all the troubleshooting in the future.
Update: Seemed to be working but when I went back to the exercise, I still get the account locked error on the login screen and the sandbox is stuck in the signing in screen. Also, I can't find the Appeal button. Please explain where I can see the Appeal button.

I moved on to the other modules. But the issue still persist. I just want to know if I can use Azure free trial for the learning exercises.
The Sandbox environment in the exercises in the Learn path are designed to provide ready access to the various resources in a limited way. Most of them do not need Azure portal for their completion.
Please tell us if you have skipped this exercise and proceeded further to the unit 9 exercise in this module, if so, are you able to access the sandbox there?
When you have completed the other modules, please go back to the Unit 3 exercise and try to launch the sandbox. If you are still facing the same issue, try the following step:

Can you try the same process in incognito browser and try to clear cache, logout and relogin in case there is a session already running.
Just a note - The sandbox may only be used to complete training on Microsoft Learn. Use for any other reason is prohibited, and may result in permanent loss of access to the sandbox. Did you used for any other purpose during the training?

Thank you for the suggestion. The problem still persist even after trying everything you said. Also, I'm attempting to do the AZ-900 certification and I can assure you I'm not using this platform for any other reasons.
