Hi @Anonymous
Does anyone else have the same problem in your organization?
According to your description, your client could detect the microphone with no issue. To exclude the client issue, we recommend you try to clear your client cache file by following these steps:
- Log out of Skype for Business.
- Delete any sign-in info.
- Exit Lync.
- Open Run bar and type in %AppData%. Make sure you’re in the AppData directory and navigate to\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0 (or 16.0)\Lync\ for Skype for Business and Lync 2013, or \Local\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Lync\ for Lync 2010.
- Delete sip_profileName folder. If you do not see this folder, check the \Local\Microsoft\Communicator directory.
- Delete all files in Tracing folder. Do not delete the folder itself.
- Clear DNS cache: in Command Prompt run ipconfig /flushdns command
