Is it possible to add External Active Directory user to Azure data catalog?

We have some external users who are part of the external azure active directory. We would like to give them permission to azure data catalog. But Data catalog does not allow with error

Unfortunately, you cannot add external Active Directory user to Azure Data Catalog.

When using Azure Data Catalog, the functionality is limited:

• Accounts with type Guest Role are not supported. You cannot add guest accounts as users of Azure Data Catalog, and guest users cannot use the portal at https://www.azuredatacatalog.com.
