Hi,

We're trying to integrate anomaly detection in our data pipeline but I can see that the Azure Anomaly Detection service is being retired and we cannot create any more new Anomaly Detection resources on Azure:

What is the alternative service that we can start using now for detecting anomalies in our data?

Thanks,

Mo

@Pourtorkan, Mohammadreza Apologies for the late reply.

    Dear valued customer,

As you might already know, Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor will be deprecated in Oct 2026, during which existing Azure Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor resources will continue to operate, but no new resources can be created. In terms of replacement, we are still finalizing the detailed guidance for the migration from Azure Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor to Azure Fabric. We understand that this may cause some inconvenience and uncertainty, but we assure you that we are working diligently to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. Please expect an update early next year.

In the meantime, we highly recommend that you stay updated on the latest developments by regularly checking the official documentation and email from us. Additionally, you can reach out to Microsoft support for any specific questions or concerns you may have.

Once the detailed guidance is available, we will share it with you and provide any necessary assistance in migrating to Azure Fabric. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Azure Anomaly Detector/Metrics Advisor team
