Why is my re-deployed Azure Function App not recognizing items put on a queue?

So I was getting an error after a long day of fighting with PowerShell, and in frustration, I just decided to delete a working Function App (in dev, I wasn't that on edge) and re-deploy it. Ever since, I haven't been able to get the re-deployed Function App to recognize items put on the Azure queue (it's a queue trigger). I've checked the configuration settings for AzureWebJobsStorage five thousand times and I'm also unable to figure out how to get any error messages to help guide me in what's going wrong. I'm a junior dev who didn't build this - just had instructions in how to deploy it and make tweaks to the template.

Lindsay Shelton Thanks for posting your question in Microsoft Q&A. Were you able to upgrade Azure Resources extension to 0.8.3 version? From the description, you were able to redeploy function app, but queue is not triggering as expected. Correct?

Can you share Code snippet, function.json (removing sensitive info), function app name if possible?

No, I had to specifically down-grade Azure Resources extension to 0.8.0 to get it to deploy at all.

Function App Name is sci-provisioning-dev2.

Ok, I just saw that they fixed Azure Resources so I re-upgraded to 0.8.3, re-deployed, and nothing. I'm occasionally getting this in the logs but I don't know where else to even chase this down at, I've tried everything Google and ChatGPT suggested: "2023-12-15T15:28:33Z [Verbose] Token audience validation failed for audience 'https://appservice.core.azurewebsites.net'."

I appreciate it - this is our dev environment so I doubt we have a subscription for that, but I'd imagine we do for prod. I'll email you, thank you.

There was an issue with host.json configuration and it was resolved after removing the following lines of code:

"functions": [ "run.ps1" ]
