So edge now starts with black screen instead of default homepage and after a few seconds homepage appears but there's no option to change the appearance like there was before it's default edge logo. Opening a new tab does the same thing. This started happening after I installed october cumulative update. Version Windows10 2004 build 19041.572 and edge version 86.0.622.58

What do you use for your home page? Open a new tab or use a specific page? Does the black screen look like a command prompt window? Please also provide the screenshots of the black screen and the homepage.
Besides, I'm a little confused about the option to change the appearance, which option do you use and how do you change it before?

2020-11-02T09:24:25.887+00:00 Issue got resolved. MSN services were down so default edge page was coming up instead of customizable homepage with wallpaper and newsfeed
