I have a Windows 10 Pro Toshiba Satellite Laptop that would not allow me to enable the wifi network adapter. So i decided to Troubleshoot the problem. After viewing the troubleshoot details I did some research online on what steps I needed to take to fix the problem with the network adaptor and I was unsuccessful due to my laptop not responding to the changes I had made. So I didn't want to keep trying to fix it myself by making all sorts of changes so I figured there had to be a way where I could reset all the computer settings back to default without losing any of my personal files. So once again, I did my research and ended up just having to update my driver. In doing so I connected a USB flash drive with the intention using it to back up all my personal files but I forgot to do so and I began updating my driver. About a minute or two I noticed the USB was still connected to my laptop. And without thinking twice I quickly removed the USB and I glanced at the screen on my laptop and seen that I had just made a HUGE MISTAKE by removing the USB during the windows 10 update. Because I interrupted the windows 10th update it was only able to install very little back into my laptop therfore preventing me from using certain methods to get my laptop back and running normally again like it should be. But after I tried using the automatic repair it wasn't able to repair my PC automatically. Showing the LogFile:D:....If anyone can help me restore my laptop I would really appreciate it. Thank you for taking the time read and offer your advice to help me fix the problem.

Yep, Windows\System32 never should be on D: because it is Windows OS files and it always should be on C:

Easiest way is to reinstall computer from scratch, by booting from USB and do the clean install. I doubt that any recover method with existing OS would move it to C:

You can try Windows Reset, but I would perform clean install instead:

Hello, According to your discription, you would like to restore you machine because the previous actions damaged the system files. Please try below steps:

    1. If Settings is accessible: Click Settings > Update & security > Recovery > under Reset this PC, click Get started. Select either Keep my files to repair the PC, or Remove everything to prepare the PC for a new user. Note If the device is not responsive, try restarting it first.
    2. If Settings is not accessible: Click the power button, then hold down Shift while choosing Restart. This opens the recovery menu. This works even if you're not logged into Windows. Click Troubleshoot. Select either Refresh your PC to repair the PC, or Reset your PC to prepare the PC for another user.
