Potentially silly question. I am looking for my windows server 2019 user CAL in the Azure Portal or another microsoft account page of some sort. Anyone know where I should be looking?

I bought a Windows Server 2019 1 use CAL from a 3rd party and was successful at becoming a Microsoft tenant and accessing the CAL somewhere in Azure or Entra ID or something. I know I am dumb for not taking notes about where. I know I am clearly a bit out of my league in terms of my knowledge when it comes to what I am trying to do. But I do know that the CAL became a windows server 2022 CAL because they are all backwards compatible. It is not in my licenses withing the Azure portal, however I KNOW it is somewhere in there because I was able to find it before. Co-pilot is no help either, and I don't know if it is because I am lacking on description or correct terminology. (Tech Terminology needs an insane overhaul btw, we need websters for tech terms and if someone makes it i want a cut.) But if anyone could provide me with some insight or possibly a quick and easy response followed by a "git gud" I would be extremely thankful.

Just trying to grow my skills and expand business potential for myself while working for a non-profit focused on teaching rudimentary tech skills to people of all walks of life.

    Hello @Thatcher Ackerman

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A platform.

It sounds like you are having trouble locating your Windows Server 2019 CAL within the Azure portal. I'd be happy to help you with that.

First, it's important to note that CALs are not typically managed within the Azure portal. CALs are typically managed within the Windows Server environment itself. However, it's possible that your CAL was obtained through a third-party service that integrates with Azure, such as Entra ID.

To locate your CAL, I would recommend checking any emails or documentation you received from the third-party service when you purchased the CAL. This should provide you with information on where to access the CAL.

If you are still having trouble locating the CAL, you may need to contact the third-party service directly for assistance. They should be able to provide you with more information on how to access the CAL.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
