all my mailboxes are in online But DLs are in both onprem and online.
Delivery Management
Hi All
I am using exchange 2016 hybrid environment and lets say my domain is domain1.com. i have another domain lets say domain2.com and domain2.com is external to domain1.com In exchange onprem domain2.com is added as accepted domain. in exchange online domain2.com is added as remote domain.
Application is hosted on domain2.com and it is triggering emails to domain1.com DLs(onprem Dls and online DLs) from sender app@domain2.com .DLs(onprem & online) accept emails from the sender app@domain2.com when i change the DL settings of the delivery management to (Allow messages from people inside and outside my organization)
Is it possible to make the sender app@domain2.com as internal as this sender is sending emails to atleast 1000 DLs. i dont want to modify the DL Delivery Management settings as it will expose the DLs to external users. is it possible by creating transport rule to modify the header to internal from sender app@domain2.com
