How can I change the Outlook address book default to the Global address list in Exchange for the entire organization

I need to set the default outlook address book to the Global Address list for the entire company. How can I set the default to the global address list.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the Microsoft forum!

    Based on your description ,my understanding is that you want to change the default address list from “Offline Global Address List” to “Global Address List” like in the below picture:

    Please point out any misunderstandings.

    To accomplish this ,you can change to Outlook Online mode as the followings:File->Account Setting -> Uncheck the box “Use Cached Exchange Mode to download email to an Outlook file ” and restart Outlook.
