Internet is not working inside of my azure ubuntu VM

When I initially began using Ubuntu VM, I used the internet within the VM to download packages or for general internet usage. However, for the past few days, the internet hasn't been working inside my VMUser's image

    How is host name resolution configured? The image doesn't show that the internet is not available (it may or may not be), it shows that host names can't be resolved (which might be because internet is not available)

    Are you still facing the issue? Looking at the issue error, it appears to be DNS related issue here. Are you using a custom DNS or azure provided. Please check the DNS settings as per the below article https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-network/virtual-network-network-interface?tabs=azure-portal#add-or-change-dns-servers
