Is it possible for us to package WORDPAD.exe and provide a portion of the standalone application to customers?

WORDPAD.exe will be deprecated in Windows 11 24 H2 and Windows Server 2025 and future Windows OS, according to the Microsoft update. Wordpad.exe is still present on all other Windows platforms supported by Microsoft. We do not enable the use of Microsoft Word or any other word processing format in our stand-alone application, which only supports Wordpad document formats. One approach I've considered is to include wordpad.exe in the product package and ship it to the customer so that when they update to Windows 11 24H2 or Windows Server 2025, the program won't stop. Is it okay for us to package the WORDPAD.exe component of the product? If so, what advice would you give?

Thanks,
