ello all,

we have in wsus two computers groups Windows 10 with all current workstations, and the group Windows 11 here are new computers that came to us with already installed Windows 11, so far so good.

Now we allowed in windows 10 group & windows 11 and many workstation and laptop did this upgrade, the results are in windows 10 group we have many upgraded windows 11 OS but we don't know how to distinguish it because column operating system shows for them all "Windows 10 Pro". Why WSUS does not distinguish between windows 11 and windows 10?

Although windows10 old version is there we couldn't to find out I have divided Wsus into several versions, there are still a lot of versions. I've provided a version information below; could you please fix this?

This is Microsoft "BY DESIGN". Windows 11 is Windows 10 under the hood. The "Version" column that you are looking at is not the operating system version - it's the Windows Update Agent version on the client machine. This can be different across Windows 11, Windows 10, and EACH month's CUs as you can tell from an older screenshot of mine below. The WUA does not have an 'update cadence' that follows each CU - meaning they are independent as you can see from the switch of versions of 10.x to 922.x in the screenshots below and from 922.x to 923.x and then to 1023.x in the newer screenshot at the bottom.

WSUS Automated Maintenance (WAM) renames the OSes properly. Full Disclosure, WAM is our product.

This being said, Windows 11 knows what it needs and internally distinguishes what updates it requires from WSUS.
