Hello,
May I know if your problem has been solved? As Mr. / Ms. Zamy said above, first try checking and repairing system files:
Open the command prompt (administrator) and run this command: sfc /scannow
Restart your computer when finished
In addition, please pay special attention to the following aspects when troubleshooting:
- You mention that there is no printer driver installed on the server and you are using Easy Print. But it is possible that the client computer is using a printer driver that is not compatible with Easy Print. Try updating the printer driver on the client computer to see if the problem is resolved.
- Make sure the group policy setting "Print printer drivers easily using remote desktop first" is enabled. This setting can be found under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Printer Redirection. Also, be sure to disable the policy in the same place: "Do not allow client printer redirection".
- Ensure that both the client and server have the latest Remote Desktop App updates installed.
Best regards
Jacen
