Hey,

I would like to controll the permissions on my pages in sharepoint. So a member can visit the communication website but cannot see certain pages.

I have seen there is a way where you go into the permission setting of the specific page and go to its advanced settings and deny the inheritance of permission settings of the website and therefore customize your own permission control.

However, this does not work for me... any permission changes made on the website are also automatically applied to my pages with its customized permission control.

Is this a bug ???!!!

    Hi @Anvin Le,

This should be an expected issue in your case. Since there is sharepoint groups in the page permission by default. If you add a member to the site, the member will also add to the group. So your page permission will be auto upgrated due to group change. You could remove the groups after stop inheritance permission. Then you will be able to set unique permission.
