Hello,

I would like to know if i don't have tpm2.0 (at least i think i don't have my computer is older but still runs great) what will happen do you force your users to spend money unnecessarily and throw away good hardware or how it works?

Can I set up win 11 so it works basically the same way like win 10? Which is really good in how it looks and works. I worked on win 11 and didn't like it too much unnecessary stuff. I really like win 10 it is really great system and i will look a more into win 11 and Linux to see which one would be better and wait for win 12. Usually i skip OS from Microsoft for now i had 95, 98, XP, 7 and 10 others were not good enough. Maybe you could extend support win 10 so people like me can wait for win 12 where i hope you will return to good old classic style and improve it. Not using stupid stuff like the glass style which has 0 benefits and i don't understand why companies hate corners and pushing for round corners and the menu win 10 has extremely good menu it can always be improved but win 10 had great menu in win 11 it looks weird.

Anyway if i don't have tpm2.0 is it big problem.

    Hello,

TPM 2.0 stands for Trusted Platform Module version 2.0, which is a security chip integrated into modern motherboards. It provides hardware-based security features such as secure storage of passwords, certificates, and encryption keys. Microsoft has mandated TPM 2.0 as a requirement for Windows 11 to enhance security and protect against certain types of attacks.

What Happens if You Don't Have TPM 2.0?

If your PC does not have TPM 2.0, you will not be able to install Windows 11 officially.

How Does It Work Compared to Windows 10?

Windows 11 introduces several design changes and new features compared to Windows 10. The interface has been refreshed with rounded corners, a centered taskbar, and a redesigned Start menu. Performance improvements, new widgets, and better touch, pen, and voice input support are also included. However, these changes might not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer the traditional Windows layout.

    Alternatives to Consider:

Stay on Windows 10: Microsoft has committed to supporting Windows 10 until October 14, 2025. You can continue using it and receive updates until then.

Wait for Windows 12: It's unclear what features Windows 12 will bring, but it might address some of the concerns you have with Windows 11.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian

So without the chip no Windows 11 is not best business model.

Dose Microsoft thinking to release version without this requirement? I just don't like when company is forcing something like you must buy something even tho the thing you have could work for another few years perfectly fine. I am not too much into ecology but that is a little bit extreme.

So i don't think i will buy Windows 11 could you recommend any version of Linux that can run Microsoft software and games?
