Hello, we are upgrading our machines that currently have Windows 10 LTSB operating systems, and we are purchasing new machines that come with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed.

I absolutely need to install the Windows 10 LTSB version on these machines.

Is this downgrade possible? Can the same license key from Windows 11 Pro be used for the LTSB version?

If not, what are my options? It is essential to have LTSB.

    Hello,

you would have to clean install Windows 10 LTSB and you would need Windows 10 LTSB Product keys.

You would probably have to get a Volume License agreement to acquire the media and keys for Windows 10 LTSB

    Hello.

Windows 11 Pro licenses cannot be used to activate Windows 10 LTSC .

Windows 10 LTSC releases are typically used in environments that require long-term support without frequent updates, such as some industrial controls or specialized equipment. Due to the specificity of LTSC editions, they are available through volume licensing programs and are not available through traditional retail channels.

In general, you'll need to perform a clean install of Windows 10 LTSC and need to purchase the Volume Licensing key for that version to activate.

    Best Regards,
