msa@communication.microsoft.com Legit?

Question

I received an email from msa@communication.microsoft.com saying that I need to update my sign in technology or I may lose access to some of my third-party mail and calendar apps.

Is this legit?

I did a search in my inbox for that address and found it was used to communicate changes to the Microsoft Service Agreement. So this would indicate it is a genuine email address.

If you are still unsure, don't click onto any links in the email. Instead, open a browser and visit the site it is asking you to go to.
