Unable to sign-in even with correct PW (wrong password error message) and not getting code on Authenticator App

Question

hello MS Technical Officer,

I urgently need technical assistance to access the Client's Sharepoint folders which I need to access for work.

1st issue : I have been locked out of the client's Sharepoint folder after I have changed to a new MacBook Pro (14" - 2021) for work.

From the client's email, I have been invited access to Sharepoint - at the link page, I am requested to enter my password which I did;

next it would ask me to enter the code from my MS authenticator (however, I can never any codes from the authenticator even though I'm logged in with the same work email) - no codes from the app even after 5 to 10 mins of waiting.

2nd issue: I decided to reset my password and re-log in again to both MS site and the authenticator - in hope that it would reset the code sending issue, but this did not resolve the issue. Now the Sharepoint sign-in page keep saying that my NEW password is incorrect.

3rd issue: I had to ask my client to reset my email account and invite me again to the Sharepoint folders; again Instead, my new password can be login to MS website but no longer on the share point login page from the client - I tried twice and it shows incorrect password, even though I am here, already signed in to MS posting this issue on community. I did not want to try the 3rd time in case it gets locked out.

As you can imagine how frustrating this issue is !

Please advise what I should do since it is affecting my work. FYI - I have changed to a new MacBook Pro (14" - 2021) and also a new iPhone 15 Pro - is this reason for this technical issue that I am experiencing ?? I used to be able to log into the Sharepoint folders before and I could receive codes on the MS authenticator app previously as well but no longer now.
