Authenticator is Asking for a QR Code to Access an Email Account
Because I got a new phone, I got logged out of my Authenticator account. I have a school account that requires me to put in a number into the Authenticator app every 60 days. Recently, a message came up on my email app saying that I should re-enter the password for that account. Since I was logged out of my account, I said that I wanted to receive a code, and it said that I should scan a QR code to get back in my account. I then learned that you can restore your account, which I did, but it still says that I have to scan a QR code. Do I scan the QR code on my school account website? Also, I tried doing this last week so is it possible that the QR code I’m supposed to scan already expired?
