Hi everyone,

I am encountering an issue while trying to add my bot to Skype contacts using the browser. The URL I am using is: https://join.skype.com/bot/c297b24d-0a91-45f8-a541-158a210e5d92.

When I click this URL from the Skype app, it works perfectly fine and adds the bot without any issues. However, when I try to do the same from a browser, I receive the following error message:

Oops, something went wrong at our end Sending one of our engineers to fix it. Give it a couple of minutes and try again.

I have waited and tried multiple times, but the issue persists.

I found a similar question (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1789027/unable-to-add-bot-as-skype-contact) where the response indicated that only bots created and published before the end of 2019 can continue to use the Skype channel. My bot was created and connected to Skype before April 2018, so it should be eligible.

Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any insights on how to resolve it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

@Anry Lu 呂孟庭 Since this requires an older bot to be available for testing, it might be difficult for others to test. However, I will suggest to cross check if you followed all the steps mentioned here, which is configuring the channel first before testing the bot in skype. If the issue still occurs, please raise a support case from azure portal for your bot to have more detailed look into the issue. Thanks!!
