Azure AI search data keep displaying "Ingestion in progress"

Question

I am trying to create an index with Azure AI Search through the Azure Open AI chat playground and it keeps running for more than a day, this is just a test data with is about 2MB. When i checked my AI search index, i saw the index there created but i should have been notified via the chat playground that the ingestion has been completed but that was not the case, this problem has been persisting for more than a month now and i assume Microsoft as a big company should have fixed this problem already. How can i be sure that the index was fully ingested ? Imagine working on a big data. Please fix this, i am attaching an image of the problem, thanks
