How do I stop the autotext replacement of [Firstname] with [Firstname Lastname], Outlook for Mac?

I am using Microsoft Outlook for Mac v16.83.3

When I am composing an email if I type my firstname and hit Enter it is replaced with firstname lastname. How do I switch this off?

What is your account? Microsoft 365 account or something else?

If you are using a M365 account, you may take the following steps to handle the issue:

In Outlook, go to Preferences > AutoCorrect > Text Completion.

Clear the Show text predictions while typing check box.

I have an enterprise Microsoft 365 account

There's no "Preferences" in Outlook for Mac

If I go to Outlook Settings > AutoCorrect >Text completion. I see the box "Show Autocomplete Tip for AutoText and dates"

So I turn it off, but there's no option to change or edit the AutoText entries?

What is your version of your Outlook for Mac? New Outlook or Classic Outlook?

And does the issue occur recently? If so, is there any specific operation did you do before the issue occurred?

In addition, you may take the follow steps: Edit > Spelling and Grammar, turn off "Check Spelling While Typing" to disable the red underlines and turn off "Correct Spelling Automatically" to disable automatic replacement and then to if see the issue persists.
