You're not eligible for an Azure free account Even though I verified my identity!

I verified my status as a student but I keep getting you are not eligible, I really don't understand what's the problem here. Plus I can't even raise a support request because I don't have a subscription this is frustrating, please look into this issue!

I see that you are trying to activate your Azure for Student subscription and being greeted with message "You're not eligible for an Azure free account".

You need to provide a phone number and your academic organization’s email address (for example, your_name@your_school.edu) to sign up for an Azure for Students subscription.

Are you sure you're using your education's organization's email address? Please refer to the Microsoft for Students FAQ over here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/free-account-students-faq/

If you're eligible, then I suggest you create a support request over here: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket/. The ticket enables you to work closely with the support engineers and get a quick resolution to your issue.

If you are unable to raise a support ticket, you can call global customer service - https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 to raise a support request on your behalf to help you connect with Azure billing and subscription management support.

Hello Babafemi,

I believe this is not the problem because my fellow classmates have verified and gotten their student subscription with their same college email, I do require further assistance because this seems to be a something else.
