Since July, I haven't received any new emails in my Outlook account synced with my Gmail account. It has been at least two weeks since anything has come into my account. My Gmail account is m***@gmail.com, and I used to have a Hotmail account d***@hotmail.com which got hacked. I was able to sync my Gmail emails to my Outlook account, but this has now stopped. I prefer using Outlook instead of Gmail, but I don't have a list of contacts to send out a new Outlook address. Can anyone provide any assistance with this issue?

    Hi,

Tip: Please do not disclose any information about your privacy including your account password, etc. I will hide your information through the editing function!

Looks like the issue is more related to your outlook.com account, please kindly understand that the Exchange tag here we mainly focus on general issues about Exchange. It's suggested that you could post your case in dedicated forum for Outlook.com for more professional advice.

But based on my personal experience, you can check your connection settings:

    • Open Outlook.
      • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
      • Select your Gmail account and click Change.
      • Verify that the server settings are correct according to Gmail's IMAP settings.
        • Incoming mail server: imap.gmail.com
        • Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com
        • Make sure "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is checked.

    Check for Any Sync Issues:

    • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    • Select your Gmail account and click Repair.
    • Follow the prompts to repair the connection.

    Gmail Security Settings:

    • Make sure "Allow less secure apps" is enabled in your Gmail settings (if you are using older versions of Outlook).
    • Enable IMAP in your Gmail settings: Go to Gmail > Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP and make sure IMAP is enabled.

    Remove and Re-add Account:

    • Sometimes removing and re-adding the account in Outlook can fix sync issues.
      • Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
      • Select your Gmail account and click Remove.
      • Restart Outlook.
      • Add the account again by going to File > Add Account and following the prompts.
