To check if you are using a higher tier or additional features, you can view your Azure billing history and details. If you have multiple databases or instances, make sure they are covered under the free tier.
Still, if you are unsure why you are being charged, you can contact Azure support for help. They will be able to identify the cause of the charges and provide guidance on how to avoid them in the future.
