Protocol and Port ranges for allow Logic Apps IP

Question

We got the notification about the Logc Apps IP addresses that will need updating by Nov 12th. It doesn't specify any protocol or port ranges on the required IPs that need to be added. Can anyone clarify for me if they have to be any/any or we can limit them to say TCP and a range of ports?

Update firewall configurations to allow Logic Apps IP addresses by 12 November 2024

You’re receiving this email because one or more of your consumption SKU logic apps could be affected by an upcoming change.

To improve traffic flow, we’re adding new IP addresses for Azure Logic Apps. If you have firewall configurations that have allow list Logic Apps IP addresses, you’ll need to update them to keep your logic apps running as expected.

Please note this only affects consumption SKU logic apps and not standard SKU logic apps.

If you don’t have this type of firewall configuration, you won’t be affected by this change and don’t need to take any action.

Required action

Update your firewall configurations to include the IP addresses below by 12 November 2024.

You can set the protocol and port range as per the connector you have utilized in you Azure Logic App. Most connectors work on top of HTTPS protocol and use HTTPS port 443 as the default. However, some connectors might use other port numbers and protocols, such as HTTP, FTP, or SMTP.

Following is the recommendations to configure firewall inbound rules:

• For the destination (local) port, allow the appropriate port for the network protocol.
• For the source (remote) port, allow ANY/ALL.
