UEFI PXE boot bypassing Enter on Laptop

Hi All, seeing something I have never seen before. Suddenly Dell laptops that have had the network card as the first boot device are bypassing the requirement to press Enter to continue are booting to PXE after reboot. We can plug a desktop device into the same port and it prompts to press Enter before PXE booting.

If we take that same device and move it to another subnet, it prompts to press Enter before PXE booting.

This as you can imagine is making it difficult to image these devices and requires someone to go into the BIOS and manual set the HDD as the first boot device so that when it reboots.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in TechNet.

It seems like that the Dell laptops have required OSD task sequence deployment so that they can bypass the requirement to press Enter to continue after reboot. Please help navigate to Assets and Compliance\Devices and find the Dell device to see which Collects they belong to and if there are any required task sequence deployed to them.

    Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon

Thanks for the reply Simon! There shouldn't be any deployed as required but we will certainly verify and I will report back.

    Thanks!
