How to deploy Teams App without publishing

Hi,
I am currently developing Teams app. Everytime I want to use the app, I need to run the application locally with VS Code and Teams Toolkit. Is there any way to cloud host the app without publishing so that whenever I need to use this app, I can use it dircetly. Also, I want to update the app when I edit the code in VS Code. Thank you.

2024-12-09T13:34:14.19+00:00 Hi Sally Chen - You can sideload your app in Teams for testing purposes. This allows you to use the app without publishing it to the Teams store. Simply upload the updated manifest file in the Teams client under "Apps" > "Manage your apps" > "Upload a custom app".
You can upload Microsoft Teams apps without having to publish to your organization or the Microsoft Teams Store in the following scenarios:
• You want to test and debug an app locally yourself or with other developers.
• You built an app for yourself to automate a workflow.
• You built an app for a small set of users, such as, your work group.

Thank you for replying. I sideloaded my app in Teams as you said. However, I cannot connect to the app sucessfully and I found error in my Azure Bot.
The bot is not part of the conversation roster.
Is there any solution to this issue? Thank you.

Please check that the bot is installed in that team and allowed to post messages. (there are moderation settings which block the bot from posting in a team/channel).
