how can I log into my school account if the Microsoft authenticator app keeps signing me out and wont take me to my school account

my school goes through the authenticator app to let us sign into our school accounts everytime I try to sign into my account it tells me its signing out then takes me back to the same screen to sign in and refuses to let me go to my school account I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work and nothing is helping
