We want to create a custom virtual machine image. The image will be based on ubuntu 18.04. A node js application will be hosted inside the VM. We want to integrate azure metering service in this node js app. Then we will create the image from the VM and will publish it in the Azure marketplace. Any user who will start a virtual machine from that image will be billed by the azure metering service by our custom rule. We are facing a problem integrating the azure metering service in our node js application. It would be of great help if anybody can tell us how to integrate the azure metering service in this scenario?

Marketplace and metering are outside the scope of this forum. For assistance regarding this I recommend posting a question on the dedicated Marketplace Community forum. Alternatively you can raise a support request in the Partner Center.
