Hi,

One of our users started having log-in issues from yesterday seemingly out of nowhere. We use Google Suite emails to enter Azure portal, and nobody else had sign-in issues for over two months. When checking this user's sign-in logs, it showed the error code 50072. They were prompted to set up MFA using Microsoft Auth app and they had followed all the steps, but after scanning the QR code on the screen, they were told their QR code is invalid. This happened numerous times, in different browsers. They also tried clearing cache and cookies, and we also removed and re-invited them to restart the registration process, but they couldn't sign-in at all.

How might we be able to solve this issue?

yo lo que hice fue desactivar todos los métodos de autenticación para ese usuario, hasta contactar a soporte, ya que todos los demás usuarios funcionan bien
