Microsoft Edge does not open on MAC

Hello,

Despite multiple attempts to uninstall and reinstall the microsoft edge, I am still unable to get it to load. There are no virus or VPN software installed on my device that could be interfering with Edge's functioning.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps, but to no avail:

  • Checking for updates
  • Clearing cache and cookies
  • Resetting Edge settings

I am currently running macOS ventura Version 13.3 (22E252 on my Mac and the version of Edge I have installed is intel chip and another for MI, just wont open on both laptops.

    Alright, you can stick to the dev build for the time being and download a new public release once a new version comes out and test it out as well and also I would encourage to send a feedback as well to the team that is working on Edge for them to check on this and you can do that from the browser itself.

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for your response. I tried the version the mac version 111.0.1661.62, no joy. However, I have since downloaded Microsoft Edge DEV and this is the only version that works. I guess I will stick with the DEV build.

    Good day dijital(2), thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. Have you also considered trying out a different version as to the ones that is currently installed to see if this will help out?
