By design the eight quick links are lined up in one single row, but from update 84.0.522.48 onwards, now and then, they line up in two rows, one above the other in the center of the image. Does anybody know why is this happening?
Thank you

... now and then, they line up in two rows,
I think it's random. I've also seen the tiles get smaller. There are probably experiments going on to find out how best to accommodate the many feature requests for changes to the New Tab Page, of which More Quick Links please is a popular one.
Those who care one way or the other should use the feedback option (Alt-Shift-i) to make their views known, since this is what the developers take notice of.
Hi, Dave
Thank you for the suggestion, but my zoom is at 100%. Besides, in order to get two rows, you must zoom at 150%. Try it yourself.
I'll follow Dan's advise to reinstall edge. I let you know in a few days.
Thank you both of you

The default view of those Quick Links is 8 across, unless you have your browser zoomed in or resized the Edge window
Your Edge window appears zoomed in . . .
Press Ctrl + the minus key to zoom out until they change back to a row of 8 Quick Links
