Edge Microsoft Start

Question

After the last update, you just screwed the Edge Microsoft start page: it doesn't load and clicking on anything, from 'Iniciar sessão' to settings, etc doesn't work, not to mention that the bookmarks that should be showing under 'Procurar na web' are gone. It's a total disaster!!! Thanks for forcing me to return to Chrome.

the page never loads, it's just an infinite blinking. Unbelievable what an update can do!!

And one other thing: I'm no longer entitled to watching video content in full screen without having to endure the right sidebar... Guys, pleaaaaaase!!!!

I can open it and it's the same thing: never actually loads, infinite blinking.

My apologies for missing this that this is a mac.

I stand by my analysis as per previous reports. The New tab page from MSN is having troubles connecting hence it shows a generic page.

The new tab page shown in that thread is the default one you'd normally see if there was no Internet connection or some other reason why the MSN server couldn't be reached. Can you open https://ntp.msn.com/edge/ntp?

Thank you, but I'm on a Mac... You saying "This is just a connectivity issue." made me laugh, because this is not a connectivity issue, this is screwing big time.

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Nothing changed. This is just a connectivity issue.

Can you see if changing the DNS helps?

1. Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

Type ncpa.cpl

Press Enter.

2. Right-click your device and select Properties.
3. Double click IPv4 options to open IPv4 properties.

4.Select the ""Use the following DNS servers"" radio box, and enter the following in the addresses.

1.1.1.1

1.1.2.2

5. Click OK and OK again.

Restart your computer.
