Hello,

To deploay BizTalk Server 2016 Developer image available in Azure and configure it, is there any account or license needed?

I have read that the users should have a Visual Studio Subscription (formerly MSDN) to download and install the server package. For the image available in Azure i haven't found any information about applying this requirement.

Thanks in advance.

I found this information in this FAQ here that you may find useful:

How do I license BizTalk Server in Azure Virtual Machines?

  1. If you are an end-customer using BizTalk Server, you can:
Obtain a BizTalk Server image from the Azure Virtual Machine marketplace and pay the per-minute rate of BizTalk Server, or
Install or upload your own BizTalk Server image using the license mobility benefits under Software Assurance.
  2. If you are a Service Provider with a signed Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) you can:
Obtain a BizTalk Server image from the Azure Virtual Machine marketplace and pay the per-minute rate of BizTalk Server.
