**Hi thepowerfulgohan,****Step 1:**I see that Command & Conquer: The First Decade game is not compatible with Vista.

    http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/windows-vista/Details.aspx?type=Software&p=Command%20%26%20Conquer%3A%20The%20First%20Decade&v=EA&uid=&pf=1&pi=0&c=PC%20Gaming&sc=Strategy&os=64-bit

I would suggest you check for updates from manufacturer's website.

However, as a workaround you may try to install the drivers in Windows Vista SP2 compatibility mode as an Administrator.

Follow the steps below to install this software in Windows Vista SP2 Compatibility mode:

    a. Right click on the setup file.

    b. Go to properties.

    c. Click on Compatibility mode.

    d. Place a check mark in the box in front of “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and from the drop down menu choose Windows Vista SP2.

    e. Place a check mark on "Run as an Administrator" under privileges level and click on Apply and then Ok.

    f. Now double click on the setup file to initiate the install.

Make older programs run in this version of Windows:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

**Step 2:**You may also check for Event Viewer entries to find the faulty module that could be causing this issue.

Access the below links to know more about Event Viewer:

    Open Event Viewer:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-Event-Viewer

What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/What-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

    Hope this helps.

To do this, see the instruction as follows:

    1. Shut down the antivirus program and firewall in your computer
    2. Check for recent system change, especially programs you have installed or un-installed
    3. Go to Start > Run > Control Panel
    4. Double click on Administrative Tools > Event Viewer
    5. Check the Windows security events and observe the particular error

To ensure the security and efficiency of your PC, get a registry tool to fix Setup.exe errors in minutes.
