Here's something you can do, in the Start menu click-on Help and Support, type Magnify in the search box. There will be info and a link to turn it on. I have seen the Magnify Glass in the lower right taskbar area, can't seem to make it show up on this computer. Usually find a checkbox that says, "Display Icon in Taskbar". Noticed + U on Windows XP; sorry, tried to copy and paste from the Help and Support Center. That's the "Windows Logo Key" + U . The application, Magnify, is under the Accessories and then under Accessibility . Not in the control panel.

2010-11-15T14:55:48+00:00 The magnifer icon used to be situated between the battery performance icon and the McAfee Icon. Now there is just a space ,someone has suggested that I might have clicked a button on my optical mouse by mistake. I have tried pressing each one of the four buttons in turn but this action has not had the desired result.

window taskbar button.
