Windows 10 Scrabble

Just upgraded from Windows 8.1 to 10.  Now cannot plan my previously installed Scrabble Plus game due to incompatibility.  Looked at Microsoft app and reviews are bad, not anything I want to buy.  Now what do I do?

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated. 

    I would suggest you to try installing the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps. Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

    Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

    b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

    c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

    My 2006 disc for Hasbro also works.  It came as a CD with a yellow and red front cover, called Scrabble Champion Edition.

    I also lost my Scrabble from my desktop when I changed to Windows 10.  I found my old 2006 disc  for Hasbro Scrabble and put it back in my laptop and it works just fine.  Hope this solves the problem for some people.

    I had the scrabble from MSN games and it will still work on my Windows 10 however it never shows the opening so that I can enter my registration code and install it as a full game.  Because of this I only get 1 hour of play.  Any suggestions for that.
