azure data catalog "launch application" giving error

I am getting "The Azure Data Catalog data source registration tool is a 64-bit Windows application, and cannot be launched on this 32-bit Windows compute" when trying to register a data catalog database using the "Launch application" button

Thanks for posting your query.

Unfortunately Azure Data Catalog registration tool is a 64 bit windows application and only support on 64 bit windows OS. Since your windows OS is 32 bit, it is throwing the error. Possible options are either to use a 64 bit Windows OS machine or to use Azure Data catalog portal.
